About Coach Hall:
Growing up in Sacramento, California, I learned early that adversity can either break you or build you. My journey through athletics, injuries, and life challenges helped shape the coach, mentor, and leader I am today.
My athletic career began at Mesa Verde High School, where I was fortunate to experience success in both football and basketball. Thankfully, I was blessed to compete at a high level in multiple sports. Being selected all Conference as a Jr, and Sr. Dashing to the school’s single-game rushing record, and earning honors including All-Conference MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and 2011 Old Spice athlete of the year, as well Youth Leader of the Year in California for off the field efforts with WEAVE; speaking out against Domestic Violence.
After high school, I continued my football career at the University of Nevada, Reno as a running back under Chris Ault. Following a major ACL injury my freshman year, I returned home to Sacramento and attended American River College. After redshirting and continuing to rehab, I transitioned to linebacker and earned 1st Team All-NorCal honors under coach John Osterhout. Proving that setbacks can create new opportunities if you strap in and grind.
I later transferred to Eastern New Mexico University, where I became a team captain, a work-out partners nightmare, and a shake on the board of Sun Fit Nutrition 2.0. Although another ACL injury cut my junior season short at the end, I earned All-LSC honors and continued pushing forward through adversity under coaches Josh Lynn, and Kelley Lee.
Those experiences taught me resilience, discipline, and perseverance. Despite a difficult upbringing and injuries, I stayed committed to my goals and ultimately graduated from ENMU as a first-generation college graduate. That is something I truly take pride in.
I had the opportunity to play and learn from a lot of great leaders. Today, my mission is bigger than sports. I want to help young athletes build confidence, develop character, and understand that obstacles do not define their future. Everyone has a story, and I hope mine can inspire the next person out there who may need it.
